What is a Christian?

A Christian is someone who has believed that Jesus Christ is the son of God and who has committed his life to Him. A Christian is forgiven of his past sins and will live in Heaven with God forever.

What does it mean to be saved?

When a person accepts the truth that Jesus Christ was sent to Earth by God, died on the cross for our sins and was raised from the dead, he is saved and has everlasting life in the kingdom of God.

What must I do to be saved and become a Christian?

Jesus Christ desires that every man, woman and child would come to know his unconditional love and saving grace. In order for a person to receive the gift of salvation he must simply do three things:

Admit Admit to God you are a sinner. Repent and turn away from your sin. Once you have committed your life to God your relationship will grow through daily prayer, studying His written word (the Bible) and fellowshipping with other Christians. Finding a church home and becoming involved in a small group with other believers who share your faith will also help you to strengthen your daily walk with the Lord.
