Ministry Teams

Looking for a place to serve?  There are many opportunities to serve at The Grove. In addition to age-related opportunities, we have various ministry teams that are serving to meet differing needs within our church and community. Are you passionate about children, youth, or perhaps, basketball or missions?  We will help you find your place of ministry or even start a new ministry team!

Preschool Ministries

Our mission is to provide our younger children a safe, fun and loving environment that teaches them about God and teaches them biblical truths on which to build their future.  We are committed to making our nursery and preschool division a priority in our church and providing quality childcare and activities for our families of preschoolers.

Children’s Ministries

Children are a vital part of The Grove!  Our GroveKids Children’s Ministry offers exciting programs to help kids experience God’s amazing love for them and lead them to serve and honor Jesus Christ in their young lives. Some of these opportunities include:

CrossTraining - A kid-friendly discipleship program on Sunday nights. (Throughout the year)

KidQuake! - A fast-paced, fun-packed program for children K-5. (Wednesday nights during the summer)

A fun international, Bible-centered program reaching children with the gospel of Christ and training them to serve Him. (Wednesday nights during school year) Cubbies is fun with a purpose – to reach and train kids for Jesus Christ. Games, puppets, crafts, awards and other activities transform our preschool program into a lively weekly experience where fun and learning go hand in hand. The Awana club for children in kindergarten through second grade builds on the material taught in our preschool club. The aim of the curriculum is to take youngsters a step deeper into God’s Word while giving unsaved boys and girls regular opportunities to hear the gospel and come to faith in Jesus Christ. After being immersed in solid foundational teaching at the preschool level, boys and girls frequently come to an understanding of their need to trust Christ as their personal Savior while in Sparks. The name Truth & Training reflects the passion of Awana to teach third- through sixth-grade boys and girls the truth of God’s Word and to train them to follow Christ in their daily lives. Our goal is that many of today’s young people will become tomorrow’s church leaders. T&T is the program that trains the leaders of tomorrow — today.

Student Ministries

We are absolutely passionate about youth – both who they are and who they can become - as they commit their lives to Jesus Christ and learn to live their lives according to His Word. We believe that the best youth ministry is built around relationships that purpose to disciple and challenge youth to deepen their walk with Christ. Therefore, we have a core group of adults who love young people and are committed to helping them grow spiritually through well-planned and creative programs and activities that your youth won’t want to miss! Check out RPM (HS) or Route 57 (MS) on Wednesday nights at 6:00 PM!

Adult Ministries

Ministries for men, women, singles, and families are continuing to develop as we seek to meet the needs of people in all stages of life.  We have Ministry Team Leaders dedicated to providing opportunities for fellowship, ministry and personal growth through our Small Group Ministry, Ladies’ Ministry, Men’s Ministry, Recreation Ministry and more!  We encourage new ideas that bring new ministry opportunities in this area so expect these ministries to grow and expand!
