Ross and his family have been at The Grove since 2003 when he accepted the position as pastor. Prior to joining The Grove family, Ross served as student pastor for First Baptist Church- Elberton, GA (1997-2003) and Byne Memorial Baptist Church- Albany, GA (1993-1997). He received his bachelor’s degree in Religious Studies from Samford University in May, 1991 and his masters degree in Religious Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in July, 1993.
Ross accepted Jesus Christ into his life on June 24, 1984 at the age of 15 and has been a dedicated follower and witness ever since. Ross has a sincere passion for the Lord and an overriding desire that every person he touches would come to know Jesus.
Ross and the entire Grove family share a vision that we would be a church, based on the very word of God given to us in the Bible, that encourages each and every member in fellowship and reaches out to every individual in our community so that they would know the undying love and salvation that can only be obtained by trusting in Jesus Christ.
